Always Care Your Way is a caregiver registry providing high quality matches of companions & caregivers to clients who need 1:1 care at home or in a facility.
We are pleased to offer the Chapel Hill area an alternative to traditional home care by transferring control to the hands of clients & also to the hands of caregivers. During the most vulnerable chapter of life, quality care evolves with mutual chemistry between client and caregiver. Who is better qualified to determine a good match other than those two people?

Emmie Kendrick Emmie Kendrick, currently a UNC-CH nursing student, has a five-year history working as a caregiver in registries. Her clients have ranged from those with advanced dementia to those receiving Hospice care and at the end of life. Emmie’s skill set is stellar in direct patient care as well as caregiver recruitment.
Establishing a registry came about as an effort to accomplish two things Lisa found exceedingly frustrating in the area of care for elders.
Clients and their families who needed support and/or care often were considered as products in an assembly line of the caregiver industry with slots of time to be filled instead of prioritized as unique individuals with specific needs and personalities.
The vast majority of caregivers Lisa met while serving elderly clients these past 35+ years, were not paid a livable wage and certainly not a wage to align with the immense trust & responsibilities for which they assumed. Thus, neither party was provided the opportunity within the traditional industry to meet, screen and choose each other.
Our model of of competence with compatibility allows each party to meet, collaborate, and negotiate, leading to lasting relationships with negligible turnover and a culture of showing up and being present both figuratively and literally. Expressions of gratitude from both clients/families and the caregivers are frequent.
The heart of our caring derives from competence paired with compatibility. Only the very best make it through our rigorous screening process. See for yourself. Meet some of our caregivers and hear their stories. You will see why we accepted them into our registry.
